What does ‘full-resolution images on disc’ mean? What can I do with my disc?

Full-resolution images are high quality images at the same resolution as taken by the camera. These images are suitable to print.

What does ‘image processing’ mean, and what do I get for 5 hours, 10 hours, 15, or 20 hours included with the different premium packages?

Image processing are adjustments we make in image editing programs to your photos to optimise their viewing and print quality. These programs also allow us to unleash our creativity with a range of editing options.

Basic adjustments include colour correction, cropping, brightness and contrast adjustments, and basic black and white conversions.

Advanced image editing may include perfect black and whites, sepia and antique tonings, selective colour, textures, photo montages, storyboards, and collages.

You can tell us what sort of ‘look’ you’d like your photos to have and how you’d like us to spend the time on your images.

How many processed images you will get for the amount of time included in your package depends on whether we perform basic adjustments or advanced editing. Have a chat to us if you’re unsure of how much time your images need for what you want.

You can also add extra processed images any package for an additional cost.

Should we have a second photographer?

If your budget allows, a second photographer is a valuable addition to your wedding photography coverage. Different angles of your ceremony, more candids of your guests and bridal party, and the creative flair of another photographer is all yours.

What does a ‘lighting assistant’ do? (included in gold and platinum packages)

Hiring a lighting assistant will help your photos look the best they can be - by providing additional lighting on-location and at your reception. Having a lighting assistant allows us to set up off-camera flashes for both subtle and dramatic lighting effects - definitely worth it, especially if you would like some photos around sunset or at night.

Do I really need my reception photographed?

In the day of digital, you are not going to be lacking photos from your reception - most of your guests will bring their cameras along and snap away at every opportunity!

What is a ‘photo corner’?

How early do I need to book my wedding date?

How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?

A deposit of 10% or $100 (whichever is greater) secures your date. The balance is due in the week before the wedding, and payment plans are available so you can pay your photography off in the months leading up to the wedding if you like.

How many photo locations can we go to?

As many as you like - there is no limit. However

How much time do we need to allow for photographs on our wedding day?

How many photographs will you take on the day?

How long will it take for me to see my wedding photographs?

What is an ‘Art Mount’?

What is an engagement or pre-shoot for?

Do you do a gift registry for my wedding guests to purchase service or products credits as a gift for us to use after our wedding?

What is your ‘refer a friend’ reward?
